Minimising food waste

Because we are a farmer-owned cooperative, the most precious ingredient is the raw milk from our farms, and we strive towards not wasting a single drop, so we minimise food waste as much as possible.

We have made significant efforts towards efficiency in our own production processes while also providing consumers with smart ways to get the most of our dairy products, and we direct surplus food as much as possible to food banks across Europe.

Actions we’ve taken to minimise food waste…

Optimised production
Optimised production

In our own dairies, we work constantly to optimise production while minimising waste, through intelligent technology and close collaboration with customers and suppliers.

Precise packaging
Precise packaging

Good packaging is crucial in maximising the freshness and shelf life of our products. And if we make our packaging easy to fold and fully empty, in the right size for every product and occasion, less food goes to waste.
