Dairy education

EDEN

Eden is a groundbreaking dairy education initiative driven by the UK dairy industry to provide an Advanced Apprenticeship for Engineers and a Foundation Degree qualification for Dairy Technologists, with the aim of producing world class staff for tomorrow’s dairy industry.

Every year, Arla recruits a cohort of Trainee Dairy Engineers and Trainee Dairy Technologists, usually one of each per site. Students split their time between placements at an Arla site and at Reaseheath College in Cheshire, where there is a mix of classroom and practical learning in a purpose built multi-million pound dairy training facility.

Both programmes allow students to earn while they learn with no student loans to repay, and the op-portunity to gain skills that are in short supply in the dairy industry.

We are looking for people who are passionate about the dairy industry. You will be able to demonstra-te a desire to learn and have good literacy, numeracy and communciation skills. You will need to have GCSEs A-C in Maths, English and Science subjects as well as a minimum of 1 A Level. Our key Eden values are Passion & Pride, Pioneering Attitude, Integrity & Respect and Shared Learning & Community Spirit.
